Our dear Students and Parents, welcome to F.A.M.V.A.R International Secondary School. FAMVAR is a Secondary School located in a serene environment on Woke Street, Off Sani Abacha Road, GRA phase III, Port Harcourt. We commenced operations in September, 2008 and have been growing strong ever since. We are a Government Approved School and we present candidates each year for the WAEC and NECO examinations.

We hope you have come well prepared to work because that is what we are known for. Our vision is to breed self reliant, disciplined and honest youths through qualitative education youths who will be fully equipped to compete and contribute positively to our growing technological world.

It all started as a dream of our dear beloved Proprietress, Late Lady Regina Agbo Anju. She envisioned a world class educational institution, a School that would mold and guide future generations of enlightened minds. We are charged to carry on this dream by "Rendering Service Through Knowledge". We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all the role players that have made it possible for her dream to become a reality.

We uphold high academic and moral standards in our bid to churn out unique individuals who will not only fit into the society at large, but will stand out among their peers as they express their abilities. This is achieved through our well rounded educational programs which include: sports, Character and Public Speaking Education as well as a variety of extra – curricular activities.
